
ŠKOLICE (old name: ULNS-FVI-I01)
Modern teaching kit which use the concept of virtual instrumentation for the implementation of laboratory exercises in physics, chemistry, biology and professional courses.

Teaching kit ŠKOLICE is a modern modular platform that allows you to use a computer in the process of measuring the values of different physical size and control of different processes during the execution of the mandatory demonstration experiments and laboratory exercises in various subjects in primary and secondary schools.
With the appropriate modules can be used in teaching:

- Technical subjects in various areas: electrical engineering, automation, and so on.

The introduction of such aids in the teaching process significantly modernize teaching and class becomes far more interesting and dynamic. The combination of modern technology and scientific knowledge about conditions of successful learning provides new teaching kit and a transition from traditional methods to active teaching. It provides for "what if ..." research and experimentation, and removes one of the shortcomings of standard laboratory exercises (in a strictly defined performance guide) and increases the durability of adopted knowledge adopted because of the constant feedback provided by the computer. This is very important for teaching natural science because the science does not show to students more than just a theory, it is clear their practical application and connection to everyday life. In the long term that increase students interest in natural and technical sciences.
The exercises are performed much faster - at a pace that suits the student, so they become active participants in the experiment, not just passive observers. In use are professional device company National Instruments, the developed sensor subsystems, software and apparatus adapted for use in teaching. Using appropriate software and hardware, personal computers transform into an instrument - a device that can successfully solve the problems of measuring and control the various processes.
Exercise is reduced to an appropriate electrical connection to the primary circuit board and running software - a virtual instrument, by which we control the process of measuring and recording the results of the measurements. All these actions of measuring and settings, students perform with simple manipulations on a computer in a graphical programming environment.
Student with simple manipulation via a computer controls the measuring system. Measurements are made on the plaque containing the real components and circuits whose performance are measured. The process of measuring and generating the signal is carried over data acquisition device (hardware), and data are transmitted to the computer and from the computer via a universal serial bus (USB).

ŠKOLICE I01 - physics-electricity kit
Teaching kit ŠKOLICE I01 contains 20 exercises and addition. Completed software and hardware replaces multiple individual devices (digital multimeter, oscilloscope, function generator, etc.). Student has set of 28 available components and 12 cables that form the required pattern, and then perform real measurements. At the end of exercise Microsoft Word report is generated, and the results of measurements are stored in an Excel file.
Further developments
These demonstrative exercises are realized: control work of step motor, buzzer, ramp, determining blood pressure and heart rate in humans, weather station (temperature, humidity, air pressure), PH measurement, working with the microphone, Boyle's law, and so on.Current, practice of thermodynamics are development.
